Finding Causes & Proposing Solutions
Over a three year period, the Safe Koori Kids study will explore the incidence and impact of intentional and unintentional injury in selected urban Indigenous communities in NSW.
It will aim to identify factors that contribute to injuries, and develop and evaluate initiatives to increase resiliency in at-risk children, youth and families in Indigenous communities.
Most importantly, the study will formulate and put forward recommendations for changes to relevant policy and practice across a range of government portfolios and non-government organisations.
