Sally Hughes studied commercial design and fine art at Bradford Art College before working for academic journal printers, The Charlesworth Group. After representing Charleworths and ScholarOne’s on-line peer review software, Sally moved to work at The Lancet to manage their journal office and install an on-line peer review and manuscript tracking system. Since moving to Australia Sally has worked as a consultant for The Australian Medical Journal and on communications projects for The Department of Community Services. Sally joined the HPD in June 2007.
