Margaret Jorgensen joined the Health Policy Division in 2006 after working for Eli Lilly Australia as a Clinical Project Manager. In this role she facilitated the development, data management, reporting and analysis, and scientific communication of clinical trials across several geographic regions (Asia/Pacific, Europe, South America, and Canada). Prior to this, Margaret worked as an Infectious Disease Analyst and Consultant for the US-based healthcare consulting firm Decision Resources. Here she provided major pharmaceutical companies and large biotech firms with in-depth research as to the trends, emerging developments, and market potential of drugs & vaccines within the major pharmaceutical markets (US, Japan, UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain). Margaret obtained her Bachelors degree from The University of Sydney, where she majored in Infectious Diseases. She completed her PhD at The University of New South Wales School of Microbiology and Immunology and received postdoctoral training at the Harvard University School of Public Health.
