Dr Huxley’s research activities focus on the role of lifestyle determinants of chronic disease and injury, with particular emphasis on lower- and middle-income countries. She has wide experience in the conduct of meta-analyses of observational studies and is responsible for two large collaborations of prospective cohort studies, the Asia Pacific Cohort Studies Collaboration and the Obesity in Asia Collaboration. Dr Huxley lectures on the University of Sydney’s Masters in International Public Health program and supervises several doctoral candidates. Dr Huxley has published widely in journals including The Lancet, JAMA, BMJ, Stroke and Journal of Hypertension, and is regularly invited to speak at international meetings.
