China Public Health Education Reform Forum

In early September 2005, the Institute planned and participated in a forum on public health education reform.

This forum was hosted by The University of Sydney's College of Health Sciences and Peking University's Health Science Center, with support from The George Institute.

Participants from the China Ministry of Education and China Ministry of Health, together with seven leading schools of Public Health in China discussed the current state of public health education and the needs of the public health workforce in China.

A working group has prepared a summary of recommendations for the China National People's Congress and the State Council.

中国公共卫生教育改革论坛

2005年9月初，乔治中心策划并参加了公共卫生教育改革论坛。

该论坛是由悉尼大学医学学院和北京大学医学部主办，并得到了乔治中心的大力支持。

来自中国教育部和卫生部以及七所主要公共卫生院校的参会者讨论了中国公共卫生教育的现状以及对公共卫生工作人员的需求。

工作组准备了一份向全国人民代表大会和国务院提交的建议概要。
